Judging Criteria

Judges will evaluate apps on the following, equally weighted critiera:

• Quality of the Idea (including creativity and originality)
• Implementation of the Idea (including user experience and design)
• Potential Impact (on the areas of election participation, community engagement or advocacy / activism)

Eligibility

• You will not be eligible for prizes if you are employed by one of the sponsors of PDF: Applied.
• We encourage building upon previously developed work. However, for the purpose of the competition, you will be solely judged based on the new work that is performed over the course of the PDF: Applied hackathon.
